What is it you want to do with your one wild and wonderful life?
Currently I am auditioning my various interests: knitting, weaving, drawing, painting. It is a great luxury at my ripe old age to be able to be selective about the energy of my remaining years.
No need to choose one alone but it is as if they are all vying for attention,
trying to convince me that each individually is "just the ticket"
Reminds me of selecting a "major" at college a half century ago.
(I listen to a podcast called Design Matters with Debbie Millman. Recently she interviewed a fellow by the name of Tucker Nichols, an artist who works near San Francisco. He illustrated a book about the Golden Gate Bridge.
It is from Tucker Nichols that the idea of Auditions came forward.)
