Knitting with Frogs

Just two days ago I went to Goose Island County Park just south of LaCrosse, off Highway 35.
I was sitting near the water by some large trees knitting and listening to the bellows of the American Bullfrog.
Eventually I became aware of some unusual bumps in the surface of the surrounding waters, and then gradually with the aid of my binoculars, which are able to dramatize even up close features, the protruding eyes of multiple frogs began to emerge upon my consciousness.  Not a sound was coming from these particular frogs and no movement whatsoever.  Just large eyes emerging from the water and remaining silently as my companions for almost an hour.

Silence
Serenity
Knitting with Frogs

Just the ticket for personal renewal during a terrifically upsetting sequence of global upheaval.
Amphibians are okay for now.
