Small Family Farm CSA

A little bit of heaven and lots of hard work

There is something about being outdoors and working at a meaningful task with healthy young people, that is truly life-giving.  Surely we all will benefit from being more aware of our food supply.  To plant and live and harvest so that even the soil is renewing itself is terrific.  What a wonderful life!

"Land is not merely soil; it is a fountain of energy flowing through a circuit
of soils, plants and animals.
Aldo Leopold, A Sand County Alamanac

Judith, it's hard to express in words what it means to see something like this. To see our home, our farm, our fields so appreciated by the eye of an artist like this. Your depictions are like a dream vision. It's so beautiful and you are so talented. Thank you!

Jillian, the actual experience of being on your ridgetop and turning 360 degrees in all directions with the wind blowing and the crops growing is a merge of dream and reality for me that I try to get on paper in two dimensions...but I love that even my sketchbook had a coating of soil, not to mention my jeans! The real place is so full of life.
